August 30th 2010 We have exciting news! The Gentleman Losers' new release will be available on September 14th 2010 on the Canadian label Standard Form. The tracks were recorded during the last year or so on our travels in Europe and draw their inspiration from the locations where they were recorded. It's a track called "Honey Is Sweeter Than Blood" and it can be heard on the first ever release by a new japanese label nothings66. It's a compilation disc and goes by the name "duskscape not seen". You can hear a plethora of artists on it from all around. The CD will be released on 17th February in Japan and later elsewhere.
January 6th 2010 Happy new year everyone! Let's kick it off folks! Lotta things happening to the gentlemen at the moment. We've been rather busy at our studio making remixes and other projects. For Windmill we remixed their song "Big Boom" from their new release "Epcot Starfields" on Melodic. You can listen the remix on our Myspace. Our Bibio remix is out on his new album "The Apple & The Tooth". The Album consists of remixes of his songs from "Ambivalence Avenue" by other artists. It's out on Warp Records. Also we have a brand new music video out directed by Samu. Enjoy! And finally here's some End-of-the-year things at The Skeleton Crew Quarterly. And here's a little more. September 17th 2009 TGL's remix of the Bibio song 'Haikuesque' is featured on his new EP 'Maybe They Appear In Graveyards.' Out now on Warp records. September 12th 2009 The new album Dustland has been out for a while now, and it's been getting fantastic reviews. Will be posting some of those later. TGL are currently residing in Berlin. A little recap is in order, i suppose: Yep, we played La Route du Rock in August, and it was great. We also did a special, unannounced show in Turku, Finland. In September, at Love and Anarchy - Helsinki Film Festival, we did a live soundtrack to Jean-Pierre Melville's masterful crime film Le Samourai, with DJ Aleksi Myllykoski. That was an intense two hours, but it was very nice. Since early January 2008 we been tightly locked down in the studio recording our next album, due to be released later this year. The recording has gone nicely and we are currently in the process of mixing.
